Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
Acceptance
By creating an account or using EvidenceFlow, you agree to these terms. EvidenceFlow's core platform is free to use, and its application code is released under the MIT License — see the License page for the full text. AI-assisted features are a paid upgrade — see Fees, Billing & Cancellation below.
Software provided as-is
EvidenceFlow is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The authors are not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from its use, consistent with the MIT License.
AI-assisted output
AI screening decisions, extraction values, and confidence scores are suggestions to speed up your workflow, not a substitute for reviewer judgment. Always verify AI-assisted output against the source study before relying on it in a published review.
Fees, billing & cancellation
EvidenceFlow's core platform — literature import, manual screening, extraction, the meta-analysis engine, PRISMA reporting, and export — is free, with no subscription, seat limit, or time limit. AI-assisted screening, extraction auto-fill, and manuscript drafting are a paid subscription, currently ₹399/month, billed monthly in advance via our payment processor, Razorpay. New accounts get 50 free AI actions to try these features before subscribing.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Billing & Plan in your account menu; canceling stops future renewals, but you keep AI access for the remainder of the period you've already paid for. We don't offer refunds for a billing period once it's been charged.
We may change subscription pricing going forward; any change will be reflected on the Pricing page and won't retroactively apply to a billing period you've already paid for.
Acceptable use
Use EvidenceFlow for lawful research purposes. When retrieving full text through third-party APIs (PubMed Central, Unpaywall, Crossref, and others), you remain responsible for complying with those services' own terms and rate limits.
Your data
You retain ownership of the projects, studies, and extracted data you create. EvidenceFlow is responsible for storing and backing up data on the hosted evidenceflow.in service.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the update.
